Heartfelt thanks from Darkest Hour, time to focus on new jams!

We couldn’t be more thankful to all the great people who helped make the past year and a half an amazing time! Since we released the Human Romance we’ve rocked all over the world and made so many new friends. Thanks to Mike Mowery - Outerloop Management, Ash Avildsen - The Pantheon Agency, Marco Walzel - Avacado Booking, Soundwave Touring, Vernon Go - Pulp Magazine, Machine Head, Devil Driver, Bring Me The Horizon, Everyone on Summer Slaughter 2011, Born of Osiris, all our new friends in Japan, Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence, Metaltown Sweden, Hellfest France, Wacken Open Air, Brutal Assault, Ieper Fest, Norma Jean, Converge, Summer Breeze Fest, Area 4 Fest, Highfield Fest, and of course you all for coming out to all the shows, rocking your ass’s off, circle pitting, and jamming the tunes at your BBQ’s and mosh parties! Oh, and most of all for your continued support. 2011 - 2012 were big years for us and we can’t do much but look back in awe. We’re going to turn our focus on completing our next metal opus for you all, while we might pop up on a tour or two hear or there make no mistake about it, we are focused on putting out the most intense, extreme, melodic, and mind blowing darkest hour record to date. Darkest Hour announces bassist Paul Burnette’s official departure. Welcomes new addition, Aaron Deal.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the official departure of long time friend and bassist, Paul Burnette. Paul’s presence on the stage, in the jam room, and everywhere in between will be missed. He has helped us to both conquer the world and develop the sound of the band. For that we’ll be eternally grateful.

Although Paul will continue with the new powerhouse, Iron Reagan, his musical footprint will remain with us forever. We love you, dude!

As many of you who have seen us live know, Aaron Deal (ex Salome mastermind) has been doing an amazing job filling in these past few tours. He’s rocked Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America with us and it’s safe to say, he’s a true bro. We couldn’t ask for a more badass addition to the dudes. Of all this craziness Aaron state’s:

We’re more then stoked to announce a string dates that span the whole summer in Europe. We’ll be playing some of the sickest fests European metal has to offer so don’t miss us, we’ll be ready to party and down to fuck shit up!
